Hi,
We're trying to set the forum up for use by kids/teens and are setting all registrations to need Approval, can we set it so that an email is also sent to a moderator as well as the registrant so we know when somebody has applied ? Or ir there a screen listing registrations needing approval ?
Can we set it so that IP addresses are recorded for everything ? i.e. posts and registrations
Lastly, if we set all posts to be pre moderated can we get it to email when somebody posts so we know there's something to moderate ? I've seen that you can set email notifications on a Forum but assume that's only going to be for post moderated posts, if that makes any sense
TIA
Steve

Form the admin area you can setip so that the forum admin has to enable to registration. You can also setup using the permission system post approval so that posts need to be approved by a moderator or forum admin before they go live.

I undestand (and have already set) that registration and posts have to be moderated, my question is...
can i set the system so that an administrator is emailed when 1. somebody registers or 2. somebody posts to a forum so that they are notified when they need to do something
or
is there a list of outstanding posts/registrations accessible by an administrator ?
thanks
