Looks like the database has become corrupted beyond repair.

Access has a bad habit of becoming corrupted as it is a flat desktop office file and not a real database system. If you can you should run a real database management system such as mySQL or SQL Server which are servers rather than flat files and so do not suffer this problem.

Ok, I downloaded the db to my computer and access 2002 ran the compact and repair without a problem. Is the webwiz compact and repair different than the version that runs with access?

Thanks
Russ

It uses the compact and repair built into the MDAC Database Drivers, which may do things different to Access on your own PC. Could also depend on what MDAC drivers are installed on the server vs. your PC.

I would still recommend using mySQL or SQL Server as it would prevent these types of issues, give you better performance, allow more simulations connections, allow many 100,000's of more posts, as well as a host of other benefits.

Yes, I agree I am going to look for a SQL solution. Just wanted to let you know what happened. One scare is enough for me.

Thanks
Russ
