I'm sure there was a mod around for this, but I couldn't find anything...

I'd like to add a couple more fields to members profiles, but I'm a little confused what the parts such as the below mean;

strRealName = Trim(Mid(Request.Form("realName"), 1, 27))

I take it they're reading in the information from the database so the fields are repopulated if a member edits their profiles, but unsure of the numbers at the end.

Any help would be great!
