Any plans in future to convert these forums over to asp.net?  Just curious because I think it'd be a good idea :)

There are plans to do it one day, but it will probally be sometime off at present.

Now back to figuring out how I'm going to keep users logged in when the go between the forums and the asp.net pages I made hehe

session variables or read the forum cookie from your aspx pages.

cookies are not compatible between asp and aspx pages. You'll have to store it somewhere else like an active users table or pass a parameter when doing a forum jump, which then in turn might be a security risk. I guess doing a database would be a good bet.

MSDN >> Migration Techniques states differently. Its a workaround mind you because of the different .dll's processing the two different apps but they did provide a migration strategy.
