Hi,

I have download RTE from WebWiz and got it running locally on my PC.
What I am trying to do here is to make part of my site editable from any where easily. Its some kind of web management thing.

Does this script do that? and do I need to FTP the following files back to my ISP? or it does it automatically?
 
Do I just have to implement the RTE to my HTML page that need to be updated reguraly?
 
Sorry for being so naive but if someone could help me to understand this Webwiz RTE would be really greatfull.

The Web Wiz RTE simply turns text areas in an already existing application into Rich text Editing Areas.

To use it in the way you want you would need to build your application with the reading in of pages, saving pages etc. using text areas to display your HTML. Once you are done you would then apply the Web Wiz RTE to your text areas to make them into Rich text WYSIWYG Areas.

No it's not, but if you are building a Content Management System (CMS) like you describe that it can be used as part of the CMS
