I have recently finished translating the language files in greek. Well, the forum is not active but i had installed it on the server before translating the language. Now, what i did was to rename the folder "language_files" into "language_files_bak" on the server and then copy the new "language_files" folder with the greek files on the server. But when opening the forums page, it displays it in english and not in greek. Then, by opening some other pages, it displays them in greek, but then again, when I open others, in english. What's the problem? The only sure thing is that I translated all the language files! Can anyone help me?

And oddly enough i had a similar problem with a skin. I was testing some skins, but when i chose the best and tried to re-install it on the forums, the old skin remained while the new images were in place... So, I had to re-install the forums and place the new skin, which worked...

Please, anyone for the language files?? Thx for any replies!

There are more than one Lang. file - check the whole lang. fil folder

You don not need to rename the folder, just open the lang. files, translate them, and overwrite the existing file!

Then upload it - it should work!

It could have been that the server or browser was caching pages or files.
