What is wrong with my forum, everyday i come back to see:

-the logo changed
-the logo link changed
-the date formats changed

and i have to update them in my forum admin menu, however the parameters aren't changed there

What is the problem and how do i fix it?

Sounds like you either have multiple forums installed on the same site or you are using a free web host and are sharing application settings between sites.

Edit the file includes/setup_options.asp and change the application variable prefix for your forum.

Better still find a better web host as you should not be sharing application settings with other sites as this can be a security problem.

The equipment to run a web hosting company costs many thousands to buy, run, and maintain, so free web hosts only give free web space with a limited number of features as a taster in the hope that you will upgrade to a full hosting account to run more advanced software like Web Wiz Forums. So the answer I'm afraid is no.

I was also wondering if i can use email for my forum. My host doesn't offer email options,  but i was wondering if i can link to some remote email server.

Also, is this possible for image uploads as well

Hiya

Just had the same problem myself after spending this weekend setting up the new release
I did have the older release still on my server, but when I deleted that, problem solved
Wink
