Hi,

Not sure if its just me, but how do you add and event, also is there away of completly disabling the show birthdays in forum?

You need to grant permissions for groups to create events within forums.

Then when you go to create a new topic you get an option to set an event date for the topic, it's then placed in the calendar as an event.

Edit the file includes/setup_options.asp in notepad to disable birthdays.
