OK, I gather I'm in trouble.  BUT PLEASE, is there any way to proceed to upgrade 6.0 to 8.  I have a rather large forum with a few hundred users and plenty of activity.

If there is not a method to upgrade, what did/do folks in my situation do?  I would really not want to start over, and do not relish the thought of hand reposting thousands of posts.  Any ideas, or am I just out of luck?

Please help! Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!
Dan

Thanks so much for the info and quick reply.  I am on my way to conversion and VERY happy.  I will be registering shortly as this software and new version are really great!

Thanks Again

OK, guess you probably knew I would be back.  I have upgraded 6 to 7.  This went OK.  I downloaded the 7 to 8 utility and it wants me to plase the file in my forums directory.  I do not have 7 "out there".  Can this be done by placing the ASP file in my 6 forum location?  If not, do I need to install a 7 forum on the server?  If so, where can I get version 7.

Sorry about the questions.  I do not want to be a pain.  Which I am sure that I am being.

Thanks in Advance
Dan

Sorry,  I got it.  I really was being just plain stupid.  Re-read the instructions and worked like a charm.  THANKS AGAIN
Dan
