This is a problem with your email settings.

The error is thrown by the email component and is telling you that the mail server isn't setup to relay on emails.

Contact your mail server admin and inform them of the problem with the mail server not being able to relay emails.

After contacting my mail server admin, they said it was the problem in the authentication in the script.  They said for me to make sure my username matches the from address.
Meaning that if my email address sending out emails is mailto:myname@mywebsite.com - myname@mywebsite.com . then the username has to also be mailto:myname@mywebsite.com - myname@mywebsite.com .

However, to change to admin login details.  The field for username is not big enough.  Can I change this??

Thanks in advance -boRg- you've been a great help.

:)

They don't mean the forum username, they are referring to teh username used for authentication on the mail server.

If you go to the email settings page in the admin area, there is a section for mail server authentication, you need to enter a valid username and password in this part so that the mail server can authenticate the forum software as a valid user when emails are sent.

Do I enter the admin username and password for the forum OR for my mail server hosting??

Thanks in advance -boRg-

Thanks my brother,
it works perfect now.

Can you help me out with this one.

In the admin section on the "Membership Admin" page at the bottom theres the page numbers with the drop-down menu.  When I try to select a page number from the drop-down list it doesn't work.

The javascript error says this..

Line: 513
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0

Why can't i jump to a page number.  Outside the admin section (in the forum) this function works perfectly.

Sounds like a corrupted file, try reuploading the original files again.
