Hey guys! Long time, no chat... I've been busy lately.

Anyway, I just started integrating CSS into my webpages and keep coming across an annoying problem. I have my stylesheet save into a file called "css.css" and I include it into my webpage using the standard:

"<link href="/css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />"

The problem comes along with my "body" tag in the stylesheet. For some reason, the body tag doesn't apply at all when it's included with the stylesheet. But if I manually code it into the webpage, it works like a charm.

This is probably a pretty stupid noob mistake, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

well if it isn't the "Great Creator of the Neverending Thread" :)

can you post the body style code that you have in the CSS document?

it should look something like this

BODY {
 font-size: 10px;
 font-family: Arial, Verdana;
 color: #000000;
 background: #FFFFFF;
}

body {
background-color:#000000;margin:0
;}

This tag works if I hard code it directly into the page, but not in the CSS file with all the other attributes.

Hm. I had a look myself and it works fine for me. It does read your body entry.

Yeah delete the

<style type="text/css">
<!--

and it's closing tags. You don't need them in a CSS file.
