I have got most of this done. If the registered user forgetts his or her password I want them to fill in their username and then have there password emailed to them. The problem I have is getting the information e-mailed to the registered user. Are there any tutorials out there that shows how to set this up.

try this and just giving u a tips not going into details.

username = request.form("txtusername")
Set rs = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.RECORDSET")
select table.email, table.password, table.username from table where table.username = username

use rs("email") at To field
and use rs("password") at Body field

The mechanics of getting the email to contain the variables, and then to actually get delivered is what I've been struggling with for several days - and, with help from this forum and others, found the answer.
