Have you selected which Newsletter Categories you want the Newsletter sent to? This is done on the previous page to the send newsletter page.

Also, what is the number of subscribers that it says there are to send the Newsletter to?

Now that I think about it, yes I did select a categorie to send it out to.

I just went into Newsletter Mangement to check and it does not show a place to send it again. Where would I do this?

I still am looking for some direction. Sorry for the poor spelling in my reply earlier.

Here's how I'm trying to send my Newsletter.
  • Click Newsletters Management in Newsletter Admin.
  • Click on Edit for the Newsletter Subject in Newsletters Management.
  • Make no changes in Edit Newsletter and click on the save button.
  • Means this is the same Newsletter as earlier the author name, text in body and the check mark is still selected for the group I'm sending out to, so I click on the Save & Send Newsletter button.
  • This takes me to the Sending Newsletter page.
At this point the status bar never goes above 0% and nothing happens, absolutely nothing, no matter how long I leave it loaded.

NOTE: When I imported my .csv and they show up and belonging to the category I'm sending to. When they are imported are they automatically assigned a user name and password?

Are you actaully clicking the send button?

If so does the task bar at the bottom of the browser change at all, and do any errors get displayed in the error box?

Also make sure you have javascript enabled, and you are not running some type of internet security software that could be blocking the javascript from doing it's job.

Yes I'm clicking on the 'Save and Send' button.

When I click on the 'Save and Send button the screeen refreshes and brings up this page /newspad/admin_send_newsletter.asp?ID=4

At that point the status listed below the progress bar says Sending Complete.

In the 'Error Details" body the only thing it says is 'Error messages:-'.  There is no details and it makes me think that it would only dispaly content if there was an error.

I have not checked to see if javascript is enabled. I'll check that next, but first I'll have to figure out where to look on the server to do that and report back.

Let me know if something comes to mind on anything else that may be causing this.

If it says sending complete then it means you have already clicked the send button and the sending of the newsletters is complete.

Reset the sending and make sure that the subscriber number has something next to it, (eg 20 subscribers) as this is the number of subscribers that are in the selected category criteria to send the newsletter to.

If there are subscribers to send the newsletter to and it is not sent already (or been reset) you will see a number of buttons on the page (Send | Pause | etc.) clicking the Send button will begin the send process.

Resetting the sending made it work.

Thank you...
