I setup ASPSimpleUpload and have allowed the ability to upload images in my forum... The problem that I am having is that when you view the post the image is hard set with the url ie: http://72.189.162.73/forum/uploads/20070528_100945_NX1FJCCAXQM11SC.jpg - http://72.189.162.73/forum/uploads/20070528_100945_NX1FJCCAXQM11SC.jpg

This is causing problems because when I view the website from home using a local ip the image doesn't display and visa versa if the image is uploaded from home it then shows the picture url to be http://192.168.2.5/forum/uploads/20070531_155234_avatar.jpg - http://192.168.2.5/forum/uploads/20070531_155234_avatar.jpg

This may ultimately be a routing problem I have internally but any help or suggestions would be great!! Thanks in advance!!

When you use the WYSIWYG Editor it uses the built in RTE API of the web browser you are using.

If you use IE it has a bad habit of re-writing URL's to also include the full path rather than the relative path the forum actually sets.

The only solution to this is use a better browser like Firefox, or turn off the WYSIWYG Editor in your forum profile.

I noticed this with my site and IE. I use Opera now.
