I have removed the rich text editor and I would also like to remove the scaled down text/post editor that takes its place. I do not want any editor available for my forum users. This can result in people using large text, bold texting, colours, etc.

Secondly, if you pay to register the forum does it remove the associated information from the emails that are sent to users who subscribe to threads? such as the powered by, and supplied by info? Where do you customize what text is included in those emails?

Also is it possible to remove the CAPTCHA from the administrator control panel? A real pain having to enter the image text each time you logon to make a change to the forum.

Thanks

That's not a good idea! Why remove this great text editor just because someone is using big fonts? Create rules and guidelines for your forum and tell people to adhere to them, those who don't get their membership suspended. This is common sense...  even here on web wiz forums on this site if someone started flooding with big fonts would get kicked out, too!

Yes, it does.

This was included to enhance the security of the forum. Removing it will increase the chances of your forum getting attacked so it's recommended that you leave that there.

Thanks for the reply. The idea was to eliminate much of the functionality that is not necessary. The board was meant to be targeted to a more professional audience that does not need nor appreciate the functionality. As such it is more clutter then beneficial functionality.

I understand what CAPTCHA is and what it is meant for, my question was simply is it possible to remove it (of course most everything is possible), I should have asked; how is it possible to remove it?

Thanks
