Tried searching for an answer to this question, but came up empty-handed.
Here's my dilemma. I'm currently running the latest version of Web Wiz (the Access version). I'm looking for a way to ensure only members of my organization can register for an account. In other words, I'd like to screen applications before allowing them to register. I'm not doing this now, and there are too many undesireables registering and posting to the forums.
Is there anyway to do this?

In the email setup page in the admin area you can select to have it so that the forum admin has to activate any new accounts by email.
When enabled the admin gets an activation email for the user, if they want the user to be part of the forum then they can click the link and activate the members account, at which point an email goes to the new member welcoming them to the forum.
