Is it possible to look at adding functionality to totally disable the use of CAPTCHA in Web Wiz Forum code?
I am implementing it into a site where users are required to log on to another system first before being able to access the forum pages (where they will still be required to log in using the Web Wiz log-in) so there is no requirement for "spam protection" etc. I am also concerned about it interfereing with partially-sighted & blind users.
The ability to turn it off completely would be very useful to us, as we do not require it.
If anyone knows of a simple way of acheiving this then please let me know, and please, please please consider adding the functionality to disable it totally in future releases.

hi

You can change the captcha settings

a) in the admin-panel (General Admin - Forum Configuration - General Forum Settings - Web Wiz CAPTCHA)

and

b) in the file /includes/setup_options_inc.asp (at the end of the file)

Hi.
Yes - I have done this.
But the CAPTCHA is still active for the Administration login in the page admin.asp.
I need to be able to disable this too - can you look at this in the next update?

It also still appears in thepage user_login.asp if you enter incorrect details  for the login 3 times.

I appreciate this but:
1 - this is an accessability issue - what about users with visual impairments?
2 - we were going to implement the forum within an area of the web site where users are already authenticated.

It would be really usefull to be able to totally disable CAPTCHA without having to hack the code.
