I've just installed this forum for my website and was doing some testing.

I've tried to send a private message to a buddy, but got the following message:

Page: pm_new_message.asp

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e2f'

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'Read_Post', table 'dbo.tblPMMessage'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.

Any Ideas Please?

Most errors like this are due to corrupted files during the FTP process.

Try reuploading the files again to the server.

Thanks for that I've just sorted it as it happend, it was a case of the permissions table did not have the permissions for that user.
