I noticed in the BBCodes that [ TUBE]code[/TUBE ] will allow YouTube support. Does the 'YouTube' support also incude other Video sites like Google, etc?

With YouTube you just need to include the file name, not the whole URL, unless you really want to.

If you want to show video from other sites that work the same as YouTube then you would include the full URL, however, I don't beleive Google support showing their video on other sites.

Yeah, Google supports it. I am using Google Video on another blog I run. Google videos allows you to upload and share video just like YouTube (I am sure that will all merge together in the future now that Google owns YouTube).

This is what the Google codes look like:

<embed style="width:400px; height:326px;" id="VideoPlayback" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src=" http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=EXAMPLE=en - http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=EXAMPLE=en " flashvars=""> </embed>

if the "[tube]" code doesnt work, try [flash] as that will work. the part in your post that is a link (blue) put that in the code like so: [*flash]http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=EXAMPLE=en[/flash*]

(take out the *, which is only there to stop the forum showing flash)

yes Borg! I was actually going to mention this also. can you please make the active topics link visible on every page. that is probably the most used link on the forums to browse through topics that have been posted in.

Testing on Web Wiz Forums version 9 beta 1 with upgrade tools is now complete and we are ready to launch.

However, due to an unpresidented amount of support questions today it is now rather late in the day here, 8pm, and have been in the office since 6am this morning, so will have to postpone the launch till first thing tomorrow. This will allow support staff to be onhand for any issues that may arise with this beta release.
