We've started to have problems on various machines in the office with logging into our forum - dworks.net/forum.

Adding a user id and a password brings back that the login was successful but this isn't true as the login link in the header still shows "login".

I can login with FireFox but not IE. I was on IE6 and updated to IE 7 butthat didn't help.

This seems to be related to a windows update maybe? It works on machines that haven't updated but doesn't work on those that have.

IE's cookie cache has always become corrupted easily, nothing new and something they don't seem to want to fix.

Microsoft on their own site say the solution is go to Control Panel -> Internet Options, then delete all cached internet files, then all cookies. This will reset the cookie cache. Best to do this with IE is closed.
