According to the upgrade tool, my database has been successfully upgraded and is ready to go.

However when viewing the version 9 forum default.asp file in a browser, I get the following error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e' 

Invalid use of Null: 'CLng' 
/test_f/forum/default.asp, line 501

I had the same problem:

You need to:

Admin Control Panel -> Forum Tools -> Resync Post and Topic Count
