The software has been fully tested in Firefox.

If you are using some obscure beta release of Firefox, could you please give more details and where you obtained the version you are using from?

There must be something wrong with your Firefox installation as most of the beta testers use Firefox and have not reported any issues.

I've also gone to your forum on your site in Firefox and went through clicking on the forums, topics, etc. and all displayed without any issues.

I have also just downloaded Firefox 3 alpha the latest nightly build which I am presently using to write this post in and still can see no issue with Firefox.

Web Wiz Forums version 9 has been tested more in Firefox while being developed than any other browser, being that it is the default browser here at Web Wiz as we are big fans of Firefox and always recommend people use Firefox over other browsers.

I've just had another look at your forums and it appears you have now locked the forums, and it still displayed in Firefox.

However, you do know there is a bug in the present forum lock system? Which means that it shouldn't be used in the present beta version as it courses a loop with the AJAX which can crash some browsers.

A second beta is planed for next Monday/Tuesday, to fix a number of issues with the present beta release.

You may want to wait till then before doing anymore beta testing as I beleive many of your issues are related to bugs that have already been addressed for the next beta release.

I'm experiencing exactly the same error at www.anglican-mainstream.net/forum. Looks fantastic in IE but bringing up error messages in Firefox. For example, the main page throws up

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch

This is a non-browser related server side bug that effects some servers.

Quite a few hours was spent tracking down the source of this bug yesterday, as we were unable to replicate it in the lab, but thanks to a user who had this error on their server we were able to locate the source of the issue, which required updating quite a large number of files.

If you get this on the server you are using then you should use the stable 8.06 version till the final is released.
