Thanks Mikey,
By the way if you are looking through the images to include in your own skin, please note the license restrictions on these images.
The images are used under license from a number of sources which means that they can not be used outside of the software or redistributed.
This means that you can not build your own skin and include them in the distribution or use them outside of the software without buying license from http://www.awicons.com/stockicons/?discount=Web Wiz - AW Icons and http://www.glyphlab.com/ - Glyph Lab.
If you are building your own skin and want to change the images and include them in any skin distribution then you would need to obtain the icons from another source that allows the distribution and/or modification of their icons.
So that users don't have to modify or touch the images and to comply with the license restrictions all text is now in the language files and no images contain any text. This should also make translating the forum simpler to do. http://www.glyphlab.com/ -

I assumed this would be the case i think this is better as well as it forces skin makers to create fresh skins as opposed to reusing the images

The images are now in PNG format with alpha transparency, which hopefully means that most of the time won't need to touch the images as you can change the colours without that horrible halo effect you get from Gif's when you place them on a background colour that they were not designed for.
Version 9 also comes with a number of skins built in so for those less adventurous people they can change the look and colour without having to get their hands dirty.
