I am having that Error

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while writing to the database.
Please contact the fórum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_loginUser()_update_USR_Code
File Name:- functions_login.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft JET Database Engine
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

So much in my machine as in the server

This error is actually listed in the common errors documentation that comes with the software on installing it.

The error means that you do not have the correct permissions for the servers IUSR account to write to the folder the Access database is in.

You need to set read, write, and modify, permissions for the IUSR account on this folder. If you use a web hosting company they will need to do this for you.

However, Access is a bad database and can only handle very small forums, so if you can use the mySQL or SQL Server versions. The mySQL database software is probably simpler to setup than SQL Server.

I got to get right the problem of the permissions in my machine, now the forum is OK on her. But in the provider where I am still accommodating the site giving mistake, it is REMOVED this in the address REMOVED

I already placed in the paste db the database and I made the modifications in the files and the problem continues.

Does anybody can me to help or to find out other provider for lodging free, without Unlimited Bandwidth?
