I’m a member in a private society, and wonder if it’s possible to categorize subscribers/members in NewsPad?
I need this option to send newsletter and info letters to the members in this society, as like a mailinglist.

Yes it has all the functionality of a mailing list.

Members can select which categories they want to be a member of and you can select which categories receive the eNewsletter when you send them.

Does this mean that I can decide whether a person is allowed to subscribe to this special category?
Can I have this category invisible for everyone except for instance invited members/subscribers?
By the way – your server/host is very slow in response times!

If you enable the signup web frontend then subscribers will be able to select to subscribe to any of the list categories.

FYI, Our network is currently running at less than 5% capacity and most people comment on how fast the response times are, as it needs to be for VOIP. Our servers are all Intel Quad-Core Xeon and are running at less than 10% capacity. Check with your ISP that they are not having some issues with their DNS server.
