What are the advantages in asp.net over classic asp?

Heres the ones I know:

ASP.net uses Suns idea of a garbage can, where when memory fills up it dumps all unused objects
ASP.net compiles code the first time its run to the caching memory store, compiled code runs faster than interpreted code (ASP)
More flexibility and freedom
Ability to integrate C# (C sharp) and C++ into pages

And several more

hey dipsh*t, i've seen some of your code, and you are in no position to be able to judge "real" and "amateur"

As someone who is primarily an ASP 3.0/VB6 programmer, i find your comments insulting.....

Get a clue before you post dumb stuff like that, or maybe get some skill

lmao. I go on holiday for a month, return to webwiz and this is the first post I read!!
