Hello,
Not sure if this has been reported... but I've noticed that on locked topics, it states that I can post a reply, but obviously if I try to do so, it will tell me that I can't.
If I click on the Permissions link, I get the following:
You can post new topics in this forum
You can reply to topics in this forum
You can delete your posts in this forum
You can edit your posts in this forum
You cannot create polls in this forum
You can vote in polls in this forum
Those should read "cannot" if the topic is locked.

Sorry, just noticed thats actually displayed on all pages throughout the board according to what permissions you have.

Yes, these are forum permission rather than topic permissions.
They display what permissions you have within the forum you are in.
It had the same in version 6, 7, and 8, just now they have been placed in a little drop down just to clean the look up.
