When registering the URL for NP, do I just put the site address or do I need to /Newspad it?

Let me clarify that pre-caffine giberish.

When registering to obtain a purchase key, should the URL be the site URL or the location of Newspad on the site.

Site URL only, like: http://www.webwiz.net

It should be the full URL to where the software is installed:-

www.mydomain.com/newspad/

Aww, bugger. I went with Info's Info.

Lets see if I can change it without screwing up the license.

Borg, how is that going to work if later on you decide to change the directory name for newspad?
I've always provided only the domain URL when I purchase licenses to WW products.
I purchased more than 3 licenses to different products from you and all I provided was my site URL such as http://www.MyDomainName.com - http://www.MyDomainName.com

thats all, nothing after the .com part of the domain.

It does ask for the registered URL, not the registered domain, as they are single instance licenses not domain licenses.

You may want to look through the license agreement, if you entered the URL incorrectly then you would not be properly licesed.

Why is this done that way... All other major scripts-selling sites do it through the main URL and not what's after the .com... just common sense...

Its usually done by domain name only. This is the first time I have ever bought a script/app online and have been restricted to the directory of the initial installation.

Maybe changing the name of the license from Premium Edition Single Site Brand Free License to Premium Edition Single Directory Brand Free License might make things a bit more clear to first time buyers.

Bruce, any new comment about it? I bought the NewsPad Single Site License and I’m planning to change hosting provider and maybe reorganize directories. Thanks

If you have licensing questions then these need to be sent to sales and accounts, as the lawyers don't allow us to answer licensing questions on public forums as many times cases are taken on an individual biases. Publicly from a legal stand point we are only allowed to direct you to what is in the license contract.
