Being in Australia a lot of our members have a mailto:****@bigpond.net.au - ****@bigpond.net.au or mailto:****@bigpond.com.au - ****@bigpond.com.au address, if you hit the link to email them it comes up like mailto:****@bigp&#111 - ****@bigp&#111 ; nd.net.au     It seems to be unique to bigpond addresses only.  Any ideas?

Its like the letter o is being recognised as a zero or something?

Also after some posts this message comes up...

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while sending an email.

File Name:- functions_send_mail.asp

The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 550 5.7.1 Relaying to denied (authentication required)

Is it related to above?? as from admin the email tests fine.

this error with the o is because the domain has 'on' in it.

for security teh filters change the word on to its html equilavent code which is as you can see mailto:****@bigpond.net.au - on

its a semi bug within the forum where the decodestring function isnt used just before the email is sent out .

If you turn on the built in email client from the email settings in the admin area you will not get this issue.
