I'm making a forum-like program, and I'm having difficulty designing a particular feature. I want it to store if a user has viewed a particular post or not. I'm not sure exactly how to go about this. What do you think would be the best approach?

The most efficient way is to store the date/time that the user last visited, and then assume that all posts since that date haven't been viewed, and posts preceding that date have been viewed.
If you don't want to assume that then you would just need a big lookup table.

hi there,

Thank you
