I have the forum in the fourm folder under root. to have a page in root determine if i am logged in i am including Common.asp but still my check for admin is not working. should i be including another file?
also, just out of curiousity, why isn't page load time code included in footer.asp, just wondering.

hi, i am not sure but think V9 is coded so the common.asp has to be in the forum folder and only work on files within that folder. so without editing wont work outside the forum itsself. |

i made a tutorial on how to make http://www.s2h.co.uk/wwf/tips/intergration/member-only-pages.asp - Member-Only Pages but i need to make a slight alteration with regards to V9, as it appears that V9 restricts cookies to the forum folder. if you open the settings file in "/forum/includes/" (i forget the file name) and you can set the cookie path. change this to "/" and you will then be logged in on pages outside of the forum. you will need to log out and back in again for the changes to take affect though. ------------- S2H.co.uk - http://www.s2h.co.uk/wwf/" rel="nofollow - WebWiz Mods and Skins For support on my mods + skins, please use http://www.s2h.co.uk/forum/" rel="nofollow - my forum . |

The file is includes/setup_options.asp to change the cookie path.
