I noticed one unpleasent thing: it is impossible to send private message to the user which name consists of more then 13 letters

I had this asked a lot aswell and unfortunately I don't think there is. But on the forums I'm on, 15 characters is the max. We've had members on since 2003 and they have NEVER been able to recieve PMs.

The only thing I told them as a "resolution" is to re-register with a shorter name and I'll transfer over their post count. But most don't like that idea because of their "joined date" not being able to be changed.

I hope I'm wrong and there could possibly be something in the "back room" that could be a temp fix . . .

this is a setting and a standard count really.

you are able ot change usernames from within the admin section, so no need for people to loose anything, just need to change the username from within the admin area.

Really? Hmmm . . .that's odd. Our "ADMIN" claimed this couldn't be done.

The username limit on PM's will be looked at as it may have been overloookd now you can use longer usernames.

Will increase this inline with the rest of the forum.

funny!

i was checking in today to post this bug cause we encountered it today as one of our members could not write to someone with a longer name.

Hope this will be changed with an update
