Hi

I have just returned after several years to start using the forum software starting with a clean installation of v9.05. I have uploaded the software, repositioned the database above the root and amended the path to the mdb file. I get the forum page come up but it won't let me login using Administrator & letmein.

I get the following message ...

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_loginUser()_update_USR_Code
File Name:- functions_login.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft JET Database Engine
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

Any help much appreciated ...cheers ...and apologies if this is an old problem
