From release notes

"register.asp - removed the country drop down and replaced with text box"

May i ask why this was changed?
Can i hold the old drop down menu without causing any problems?

I would like to have this list predefined since i need it for custom members country list.

Thanks

The register.asp page also has a fix for people using the Member API, as long as you are not using the Member API you can use your existing register.asp page.

I like the new change... Other forum systems like VBulletin give you the option to type your own, without the need to select from a drop down...
Also, a lot of members lie about their location... some say China and some say Japan, when they're actually living in France LOL

After all, I do agree to make it optional for webmasters if they want a drop down or no drop down... can be added to the includes/setup_options_inc.asp
