Hi,

This may be a daft question but:

Can the upgrade from 9.05 to 9.06 be performed just by changing the listed files in the upgrade notes?

Does the forum registration key need to be updated too?

Yes it can be done by simply replacing the changed ASP files, without having to put in the registration key.
