Hi,

I would like to backup all of my databases automatically in-house.

My web hosting company backs up my databases. But if something goes wrong then they will charge me each time I need to retrieve a database.

I have been searching the web and only found mySQL Backup from SwordSky Software, http://www.swordsky.com/ - http://www.swordsky.com/ . I haven't been able to find any other software that does automate databases backup for a comparison. Does any one know other similar products or open source programs that automatically backup mySQL databases?

Sheeri,

Thanks for the web site. I downloaded the application and have Amanda Maintenance Shell running. I read the instructions, but find them a bit confusing because I am not familiar using commands in c:\ prompt. I would appreciate any guidance to help me walk through the setup phase.

I am using Windows XP and have a local web server where I have mySQL databases running.
