Hi,

I have installed the Web Wiz RTE which is great...but i have one problem. I didn't find any solution on the boards. Basically when I am typing in the RTE and then hit enter for a line break...in the html it is using <div></div> instead of <br>.

For some reason in the RTE the spacing appears correctly, but when my page is displayed the single line breaks appear as double breaks and the double spaced paragraphs are twice what they should be as well. Is there any fix to this? It makes my pages look kind of strange and it is hard to fix b/c it all looks right in the editor but not on my display pages.

Also, i made sure the IE double spacing in the preferences file is set to TRUE. But it just isn't working...i need to be able to create single spaces...please help?

IE has a shockingly bad RTE API which does produce some very bad HTML.

The best option is to use a browser like Firefox, as it will produce the type of HTML that you are looking for.
