You would need to use the HTML toggle button to place the HTML code directly into the editor.

Actually, the FAQ in the latest version reads:
Can I use HTML?
HTML
cannot be used in your posts, this is done for security reasons as
malicious HTML code can be used to destroy the layout of the forum or
even crash a web browser when a user tries to view a post. |
This is a real shame since I was really hoping to be able to view Youtube videos through the forum's RSS feed. I've been able to use the forum's [tube] tag successfully within the forum itself, but when transmitting through an RSS feed, the actual code appears rather than the video itself.

This forum is on the Web Wiz Rich Text Editing software. If your questions are on Web Wiz Forums you should post in the Web Wiz Forums support forum. This is why the advice you were given in the last post is incorrect, at least in regards to Web Wiz Forums.
At the present time Web Wiz Forums RSS Feeds do not support YouTube, but this is being worked on.

I should be more careful when conducting searches! You're absolutely right, my information is inapplicable here!
