Im running v8.05 of the forum and wondered why when anyone types :) they get :) instead of

It is how it is supposed to be., you would need to turn this into BBcode by placing [ and ] around it. ok ... so If I change the emotions_inc.asp from ...
saryEmoticons(1,2) = " [ :) ] "
to
saryEmoticons(1,2) = ":)"
will that allow users just to type :) to get the smilie
