I want that user could edited just the posts, which were posted 30 or less minutes back.

I have already change the forum_posts.asp (edit button see authors who post in last 30 minutes). I have problem with edit_post_form, where is the edited tekst "Permission Denied!". Any suggestion?

Can i bring this topic back to life ?

Has anyone implemented such an option. i would really like to have the option to limit the edit function for certain period of time since we had some bad experiences with users going back to the old posts and edit them.

Can anyone point me at least to where is need to make any modifications?

Thank you !

I'd like to bring this topic back once again, sorry...

There are some nasty users out there who enter messages and then, when they get reply, they edit the original post making the responder to look like a fool.

I'd like to have mod like this, or even better - have something that would disable the "Edit" function once the post was responded to.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Pepa

This is a nice idea. One more thing i might add.

Users cannot edit the first post in a thread after 30 mins of their post but admins and moderators can. If someone needs to edit the first post of a thread, he will need to have an admin/mod to do it.

The way we post mods, this can be done in the second post.
