As an admin I want to set all moderators to have an email subscription to the moderator's forum.
 
It appears that I can edit moderator's profiles and even delete their subscriptions but I cannot find a way (either in or out of control panel) to set up NEW forum subscriptions.
 
At present I am having to manually create records in the email-notify table.
 
Am I missing something or can the "add forum subscription" facility be made available to admins.

There is not an option for the admin to force email subscriptions upon members as this would technically be illegal under anti-spam laws in many countries as these users have not opted into these email subscriptions themselves.

Probably the best way is just send your moderators a PM telling them how they subscribe to email notifications if they so wish.

Thanks, I understand your design decision but as you know, telling people is not always effective !
 
I'll have to stick with database fiddles then!
 
Perhaps you'll consider those WWF users working with Intranets !
