We're new to NewsPad. Is there an idle timeout when in the Admin section? We have a user that is a little slow at composing the newsletters themselves. I have the idea that she gets to the page where she's actually creating content for the newsletter, spends a lot of time there, then gets a "you're not authorized" error page when she tries to save and advance.

Is there a place within the NewsPad files that I can adjust a timeout setting? I have full access to all NewsPad files. Thanks.

In the file RTE_configuration/RTE_setup.asp you will find:-

Session.Timeout = 180

This session timeout is set to 180 minutes.

However, if the server recycles during this time you would be logged out anyway.

It maybe best to ask your user to work off-line and then log into the admin area and copy and paste across the Newsletter.

Thanks, this helps a lot. We had just about concluded the same thing ... that the user should compile her information separately then cut/paste in to the newsletter. I appreciate the quick response.
