Sorry -borg for trouble u again. I have a strange error, which results as

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0005'

Invalid procedure call or argument: 'Mid'

/forum/includes/global_variables_inc.asp, line 480

The error is not constant, it was with my localhost, then after i restart the computer, it disappear, when I upload to host, it appear again.

Is there a solution, or at least where the error come from?

Thanks

With regards

There is nothing at line 467 that would course this issue. It looks like you have modified the code of the file, or it is corrupted.

No, even if I upload the null-version to host, it says the same problem.
This once happened with my localhost (even with a null version), and after i restart the computer, it's ok. Now i dont know what to do with my host...
If you search with the error code i provided above, there's a guy in this forum had the same problem, it sometimes happens, then disappear after that. Now i have problem with my host since, whatever version of webwizforum (Null) I upload , it would still give the same error

I got the same error message. It worked fine for about 5 minutes (no Modifications) and then that error message popped up. I did a fresh install and the same thing.

This error can occur if the configuration settings in the web servers cache for your forum become corrupted.

We are looking at ways to fix this for the next release.

In the meantime, place ?reload=1 onto the end of the URL for the default.asp page, this will force a reload of the cache. eg:-

mywebsite.com/forum/default.asp?reload=1

I disabled asp caching on the IIS Web Server and that seemed to work too. Thanks for your help.
