Hi,

Maybe I am missing something totally obvious, but in v9 sometimes whenever I go to a topic it will take me to the last post even if I have not been in that topic before. It mostly hapens when I am viewing active topics but not always. It hapens on my forum and on this forum.

I know on some forums you can set the forum to go to end of the topic first, but I cant for the life of me find this option in v9 if it is there.

This is driving me nuts, I dont want it to happen! I want to go into a topic ant it be at the top, if I have to scroll down so be it!

I hope someone can shed some light on it for me!

In V9.06 (cant remember when it was added exactly) if the arrow on Active Topics is yellow it will take you to the first post you havent read (according to your last visit time) if it is grey it will take you to the last post.

Posts you havent read will have a star by the date (in the actual topic) and ones you have will have a blue ball.

Also, You can go to the first post by clicking the title.

I know about the Grey and Yellow arrows, but it is taking me to the end of the thread when I click on the title - am I correct in thinking it is not supposed to do that?

When you click on a title there is no anchor (#number) on the link to be able to take you to the last post so it should always take you to the first page within the topic.

It is not the page that is the problem borg, when I click on the title, the page loads up then automaticaly jumps to the last post in the thered - even if I have not been in that thread before.

I have sussed t guys, It was not wwf after all, i noticed it was doing it on an smf forum so I looked into my browser. It turns out Google Tool Bar was doing it -though I have not got a clue why!
