Hiya
Can you please explain why Private Messaging in version 9.7 is no longer available in the FREE version? I know people can buy the upgrade, but if like me, they host with 1&1, then it is no go
Why can you not simply email the information needed? ie Authorisation codes, etc? Albeit I am at times unhappy with 1&1, changing hosts seems a daunting prospect, and then I would have to be sure that the new provider was going to be any better, and that I could migrate the sql database successfully without screwing up my existing forum and all the posts
I think the Web Wiz software is very cool, but the Private Messaging bit being left out, caused a few disgruntled members on my existing forum

To activate the software requires activation on the license server. This and other features which require XML on HTTP Port 80 will not work on a handful of web hosts, one of them being 1&1 (no surprise there!)
If you don't want to find a new web host, then an alternative solution is to use one of our Community Hosting packages for £4.99 per month.
The price includes the Premium Edition Brand-Free (normally $249.99) installed for free, and we can even migrate across your existing forum for you all for £4.99 per month! Upgrades to the latest version are also included for free.
All you would need to do is pay your £4.99 per month, give us your present login details to migrate the database, and sit back and let us do the hard work for you. You can't say farer than that! http://www.webwiz.net/webhosting -
For an extra £1 per month more, you can also host your entire site with us, and again we can help you with the migration, and you still get all the bits mentioned above, as well as mySQL , SQL Server, POP3 email, webmail, nightly backups, and a whole host of other features!
