Hi there,

I have both WordPress and WebWiz Forums working on my server (Brinkster). But for the last month i get 9 SLEEP functions valuing more than 1000 (i haven't found why) in just 1 hour after i restart. And then max_user_connections error.

Here's the picture:

Is there any ASP codes to kill these threads routinely?

I both have a fresh install of WebWiz and Wordpress. They haven't had any problems for months. And ironically, these days the visitor level is at the bottom; even though this problem occurs.

Will moving to an MSSQL server just dedicated to WebWiz helps?

It looks like Brinkster have a connection limit of 10 of your database!

This is very low, you should ask them to increase this, if they don't tell them that you are changing hosts as this is a very low amount.

Moving to SQL Server will help but only as in you are splitting the load across 2 database.

Web Wiz Forums will run much better under SQL Server, but you should look for a host offering SQL Server 2005 to take advantage of the speed increases.
