Hi,

I am currently using the free version 8.6. I am trying to upgrade to the lated version. I have downloaded the file that include the database upgrade tool.

I have followed instructions and was able to convert my access DB file (on a backup file).

Now, what do i do next? What file I need to copy in my forum folder? I tried to copy the entire Forum folder over my current folder but then, its like a new forum with none of my previous settings and topics. (

You need to make sure that your new version 9 forums connects to your updated version 8 databases.

You would edit the file database_connections.asp in the database folder to make sure it connects to your database.

hoooooo, that is the missing part. Because all the information about the topic, the configuration of forum and all the sub-forum, the user list, are all in the access file?
