Yeah, what's next. We aren't in a hurry or rush to move from the old host so the current forums can stay put with version 8.06 while all other plans are made and the "new" things put into place, then we'll copy over and upgrade the database to work with the latest forum series.
However, to get to the new hosting area, to get to what will be our site when the domain is actually moved later, what do we do now?
Ideally, we'd have the latest forum software here and be configuring it to look and feel like our old or existing. I need to change the colors and such, arrange a few things, as the CSS file will need tweaked (we've moved links and icons and added a donation button, so there's a LOT of hands-on tweaking and setup we need to do.)
What's needed to "Get to work" so to speak, and start tweaking or working on the version that's here so in the end it's just a matter of bringing over the latest database?

Bruce needs to install the forum software in your "wwwroot" directory if he hasn't already.  You will have a "prepropagation" URL that will get to your site regardless of where DNS for your domain is actually posting.  Great way to check out your site "live," but not really using the domain name that the public knows.

The prepropagation address is shown in the web configuration section of your helm control panel with Web Wiz.

billd3 these types of settings are personal to you and more than likely will need to discuss logins etc. which is not ideal on a public forum.

If you could raise a support ticket on this then we can workout a migration plan that is personal to you and keep things running smoothly on your site while it is transferred.

By raising a support ticket it can be tracked and we can also look back through previous tickets which helps for these types of things so that you are given the correct information that applies to your own account.
