I have moved my forum to an outside hosting company. I used to host the forum from my own server. I originally had the SMTP settings going to my comcast.net email account because I did not run an exchange server. Now I have set up an email address with the hosting company and they gave me info for the email configuration setup panel of the forum. They use CDOSYS so that didn't change. I entered their outgoing SMTP mail server address. I don't need a username or password. I have the name of the forum next, followed by the URL of the site the forum is on. For the "Your Email Address" I entered the email address I set up for the forum - mailto:BaneForum@baneoftheaegis.com - BaneForum@baneoftheaegis.com . Origially I had the comcast.net email address here. When I do a test post, I do not get an email notification and I DO have the notify box checked. I sent myself an email from the forum and it works. I also sent myself a PM and it works. What could be happening that the post part is not working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to contact your hosting provider for the correct settings
Many require authentication to relay non-local emails, if you contact them they should be able to give you the correct settings.
