How to write in google sitemap.xml file when insert new record in database? I'd like when I insert new record in my SQL database, the new record to be writed also in sitemap.xml file. Is there posibillity to do that?

As simple as opening the text file in appening mode, writing the the xml markup and closing the file! Use filesystem object. XML is plain text format, nothing complex there!

you could always name the file as "sitemap.asp" and have it dynamic, listing all records in a table.

This does work, as ive used it on a few websites.

Though it does depend on how often the file will be updated.
